Basic Info
| Investment Strategy | |
| The fund seeks to provide income by replicating, to the extent possible, the performance of the J.P. Morgan EMBI Global Core Hedged in CAD Index (the "Index"), net of expenses, and, to the extent possible, hedge any resulting U.S. dollar currency exposure back to Canadian dollars. Under normal market conditions, the fund will primarily invest in securities of one or more exchange-traded funds managed by BlackRock or an affiliate ("iShares ETFs") and/or U.S. fixed income securities. The Index is a broad, diverse U.S. dollar denominated emerging markets debt benchmark which tracks the total return of actively traded external debt instruments in emerging market countries. |
