Broadridge Financial Solutions Inc., formerly Brokerage Services division of ADP, began operating in 1962. In 1979, the company expanded into processing Canadian securities. On March 29, 2007, the company was incorporated in Delaware as a wholly-owned subsidiary of ADP. On March 30, 2007, the company spun off from ADP and began operating as an independent public company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Broadridge Financial Solutions is a global provider of technology-based outsourcing solutions to the financial services industry. The company's operations are classified into three business segments: investor communication solutions, securities processing solutions and clearing and outsourcing solutions. Broadridge Financial Solutions serves a large and diverse client base in the financial services industry, including retail and institutional brokerage firms, global banks, mutual funds, annuity companies, institutional investors, specialty trading firms and clearing firms, and provides services to corporate issuers. Broadridge Financial Solutions Inc. is headquartered in Lake Success, New York.
