UAHC Subsidiary American Sustainable Rubber Company, LLC Acquires Intellectual Property Rights to Patent Pending Controlled Environment Agriculture Genetic Modification Technology

CHICAGO, April 18, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- United American Healthcare Corporation (OTC: UAHC), an emerging technology holding company, today announced its wholly-owned subsidiary American Sustainable Rubber Company, LLC ("ASR"), an indoor agriculture technology company focused on creating a domestic solution for natural rubber production, has acquired the intellectual property rights, from company President Timothy J. Madden, to patent pending technology that provides a method to genetically modify plant crops in tissue culture and then propagate these crops to maturity in automated controlled environment agriculture production systems.

The published patent application entitled "Automated Methods and Systems For Genetically Enhancing Genomes In Computer Controlled Environments…" allows for plant breeding or propagation using numerous techniques, such as cross pollination, marker assisted selection, cloning, and genetic modification, to develop enhanced varieties without the use of transgenic modification.

This state-of-the-art technology requires highly skilled scientists and technicians operating fully automated agricultural facilities with advanced horticulture and environmental control equipment to perform the critical steps necessary for successful genetic enhancement and production of viable, healthy crops. The goal of ASR is to utilize this technology to improve the commercial production process of the TK rubber dandelion grown in the company's indoor vertical hydroponic controlled environment agriculture production systems.

The patent pending technology provides a fully automated turn-key approach to the propagation and harvesting of genetically enhanced plant cultivars utilizing less time and resources. The system includes precision control of temperature, humidity, light, and irrigation, all of which improve the processes of gene synthesis, genetic modification, tissue culturing, and cloning.

"I have been working on the design and systems integration of this technology for years," said inventor Timothy J. Madden, President of American Sustainable Rubber. "Conventional GMO crops have been transgenically modified utilizing genes from foreign organisms like bacteria to provide resistance to pests, blight, and pesticide applications, making them controversial but necessary to feed the world's growing population. We produce our TK rubber dandelion crop indoors eliminating most of the negative environmental variables associated with conventional agriculture, allowing us the ability to utilize this cutting-edge technology to focus on sustainably enhancing key desirable traits already in the plants with the goal of improving natural rubber yield and increasing profitability without the use of additional resources."
