What is the historical range for data on YCharts?

Financial history on YCharts dates back up to 30 years. This includes financial statement history and financial metrics.

How often is the data updated?

YCharts has a real-time price feed for US stocks that is about 2 minutes delayed. Any of our price-sensitive financial metrics, such as Price to Book or PE will be updated at the same time as the price.
For instance, PE Ratios or any price based metric will have daily history while EPS data will be quarterly.

Which Exchanges are offered on YCharts?

YCharts currently covers US and Canadian Exchanges.

Are international equities on YCharts?

YCharts has mainly American and Canadian equities. We do have several international companies, but only through American Depositary Receipts (ADRs).These companies will display their financials converted to American dollars.

Is there a subscription for students?

If you are a student and you are interested in subscribing to YCharts, please contact us.

How can I change my password or find an invoice?

You can edit your account settings in your Manage Account section. To find this page, click your email in the upper right hand corner or click here.

Why do I keep getting logged out of YCharts?

If you keep getting logged out of YCharts, your browser is not saving your login information. Adjust your cookies settings to recognize YCharts as a trusted source. If you have any questions about this process please chat us or send an email.

How do I find financial metric data for a company?

First, find the company you are searching for by using the top search bar. After you have found the company you are looking for, locate the "data" tab located in between the “financials” tab, and the “estimates” tab. Then in the financial metric search bar, type in the financial metric you are looking for, or click “browse”.

Where can I find financial metrics for the overall market?

Where can I find SEC filings, insider trading information and call transcripts?

YCharts has links to these sections on any company’s quote page. It is under a heading called “Other Resources” on the bottom right side of the page.

What is the Y-Rating?

The Y Rating is a proprietary ranking system that gives our users a snapshot of what a company's value is for their stock. The overall rating gives a hint at how the company's financials are worth compared to their stock price. We have much more information about the Y-rating in our Support Section.
