Neah Power Systems Battery Proposal Selected as Semi-finalist

(OTCBB: NPWZ)(NEAH POWER), an emerging leader in fuel cell-based power solutions and rechargeable lithium battery storage solutions for defense, commercial, and consumer applications, is pleased to announce that it was selected as a semi-finalist by the Department of Energy (DOE). The Company and the National Laboratory partner are required to make certain additional submissions by July 8 2016 to the DOE as part of the semi-finalist review.

In the battery submission, the focus is on characterizing the battery and performing a deconstruction analysis to determine methods to increase the energy density and / or increase the lifetime of the battery.
