William Grubbs, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cross Country Healthcare, explains, "2017 was a year severely impacted by natural disasters, from devastating hurricanes and earthquakes, to flooding and decimating wildfires. Neighborhoods and communities were destroyed. With so much rebuilding and recovery still needed, Cross Country Healthcare felt compelled to give back to those in need. During the season and spirit of giving, we are honored to donate $100,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief fund on behalf of our clients, healthcare professionals and corporate employees."

"The American Red Cross has made it their mission to deliver comfort and hope to those affected by natural disasters. Just like our field clinicians who deliver vital services to their patients, the American Red Cross provides relief and support to those in crisis," adds Mr. Grubbs.

Chief Executive Officer of the South Florida Region of the American Red Cross, Joanne Nowlin, commented, "Medical professionals have always been instrumental in the Red Cross' service delivery since its inception during the Civil War when Clara Barton, a nurse, founded the organization.  We are grateful for this partnership with Cross Country Healthcare and we know it will have a positive impact in our communities."
