Standard Motor Products Releases 556 New Parts for Standard® and Intermotor®
NEW YORK, July 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Standard Motor Products, Inc. (SMP) announces the addition of 556 new part numbers to its Standard® and Intermotor® lines. The release expands coverage through the 2018 model year by an additional 340 million VIO and spans over 100 product categories. The company continues to expand its line of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) categories, with the release of 53 Park Assist Sensors, 29 Blind Spot Detection Sensors, 19 Cruise Control Distance Sensors, and 13 Lane Departure System Cameras. Standard's ADAS line now totals more than 200 parts.
Additionally, the company increases coverage for two other growing technologies, Variable Valve Timing (VVT) and Evaporative Emission Control System (EVAP), with the release of 27 VVT Sprockets, 7 VVT Solenoids added, 19 Canister Purge Solenoids, and 9 Canister Purge Valves.
Other notable additions include 51 Transmission Control Solenoids, 29 Power Window Switches, 16 ABS Speed Sensor Wire Harnesses, and 15 Direct Injection High Pressure Fuel Pumps.
