ASUR Provides Clarification at the Request of the Mexican Stock Exchange

MEXICO CITY, Feb. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste, S.A.B. de C.V.  (NYSE: ASR; BMV: ASUR) ("ASUR" or the "Company"), a leading international airport group with operations in Mexico, the U.S. and Colombia, today announced that in compliance with Article 54 of the General Regulations Applicable to Securities Issuers it provides clarification to this note sent to the Company by the Mexican Stock Exchange: "Aberdeen Asset Management, which holds an ownership stake of 14.44% in the Series B shares of ASUR, aims to eliminate two of the elements that make up the core fiber of the company: the Technical Assistance and Technology Transfer Agreement and the existence of two share classes with different voting rights. The subsidiary of British Standard Life Aberdeen seeks that the Board of Directors of ASUR convenes an extraordinary shareholders' meeting to put to the vote the modifications, since it considers the current structure is no longer adequate."

ASUR reports that Aberdeen has not complied with the formal requirements to request that an Extraordinary Shareholders Meeting be convened. ASUR does not have, nor will it have any further comments on the matter until Aberdeen meets those requirements.
