Diamond Hill Receives Two Refinitiv Lipper Awards: Best Fixed Income Small Company Group and Best High Yield Fund
Recognized for Consistently Strong Risk-Adjusted Performance Over Three Years
COLUMBUS, Ohio, March 6, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Diamond Hill Capital Management, Inc., an independent active asset manager and subsidiary of Diamond Hill Investment Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: DHIL), today announced its fixed income team received two 2020 U.S. Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards for delivering historically strong risk-adjusted returns over a three-year period.
Diamond Hill received the Group Award in the Fixed Income Small Company category out of 81 fund families for the three-year period ended Nov. 30, 2019. Only eight firms among 255 received the Group Award for superior asset class performance. The Diamond Hill High Yield Fund, Class Y (DHHYX), received the Best High Yield Fund award, out of 107 funds, for the three-year period through Nov. 30, 2019.
The Diamond Hill High Yield Fund is managed by William Zox, CFA; John McClain, CFA; and Suken Patel, CFA. The asset class award is also based on the performance of the Diamond Hill Corporate Credit Fund, managed by the same team, and the Diamond Hill Core Bond Fund and Diamond Hill Short Duration Total Return Fund, managed by Henry Song, CFA and Mark Jackson, CFA. As of Feb. 29, 2020, Diamond Hill fixed income assets under management were over $2.7 billion.

- Returned 8.30% vs. 4.76% for the ICE BofA U.S. High Yield Index for the three-year period ended Feb. 29, 2020
Diamond Hill's High Yield strategy has also achieved a top percentile ranking in eVestment's U.S. High Yield Fixed Income universe for both the three- and five-year periods ended Dec. 31, 2019.
