XL Catlin Appoints Farzina Coladon as Lead Fine Art and Specie Underwriter in Canada
TORONTO, Nov. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- XL Catlin has appointed Farzina Coladon as Underwriter, Fine Art and Specie (FAS) in Canada. Ms. Coladon is responsible for underwriting fine art, jewelers block and general specie insurance across Canada.
According to Jennifer Schipf, Senior Underwriter and Senior Vice President of North America FAS, "We are very excited to have Farzina join our underwriting practice in Canada. Her specialized background will help lead our business in the country while continuing to strengthen existing relationships with our clients and brokers."
Based in Toronto, Ms. Coladon, joined on November 6 and is tasked with leading the continued growth of FAS business in Canada through partnering directly with Canadian clients and their brokers.

Ms. Coladon joins XL Catlin with more than 20 years' experience in the insurance industry. She has previously worked at the Guarantee Company of North America as Senior Underwriter and held various leadership and management roles at Chubb North America. Ms. Coladon was recently recognized as one of the 2017 Underwriters of the Year by the Canadian Broker Network. She is a graduate of Carleton University and Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology. She also holds the Canadian Risk Management Designation (CRM) from the University of Toronto.
