SuperCom Deploys New Electronic Monitoring Project in Tennessee

Established Provider of Advanced Electronic Monitoring Technology to Integrate SuperCom Technology for Offender Tracking and Monitoring in Multiple Counties

NEW YORK, Oct. 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- SuperCom (NASDAQ: SPCB), a global provider of secure solutions for the e-government, public safety, healthcare, and finance sectors, has announced that its M2M division has today launched the deployment of its PureSecurity Electronic Monitoring (EM) Solutions for GPS and home detention offender tracking and monitoring in Tennessee.

The deployment is being conducted through a partnership with a well-respected EM provider who has significant experience in selling products into the Tennessee correctional base. SuperCom has received initial orders under the agreement and expects follow-on orders to ramp up over time. The project will be billed at a per-unit daily rate and is expected to start generating steady-state recurring revenues in the upcoming months.

"We are pleased to announce yet another expansion within the U.S. for our electronic monitoring solutions, this time in Tennessee," commented Ordan Trabelsi, President of SuperCom Americas. "The project is in addition to five other EM deployments currently underway globally and will provide an opportunity for us to further expand our presence in the U.S. South as well as our strategic position in the electronic monitoring space. Furthermore, SuperCom was chosen for this partnership by displacing a legacy EM technology provider and competitor, giving our offerings greater validation in the EM market. We are focused on growing our domestic revenues and plan to use this very replicable partnership-based model to continue our expansion efforts into other regions across the U.S."
