Alernet Systems Issues Interim Pilot Test Report Anticipating Sign-off on $1.5 Million in Orders by Friday This Week

DALLAS, Feb. 7, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Alternet Systems, Inc. (USOTC: ALYI) today released an interim report on the ongoing pilot test of its Revolt Electric Motorcycles in conjunction with a $1 million fleet order for a Nairobi, Kenya shared ride client. Client delegates are in the United States this week. ALYI management anticipates the electric motorcycle to pass the client's pilot test and trigger the initiation of the 100-motorcycle order. The pilot test is expected to bode well for two additional client pilot tests triggering an additional $500,000 in orders. Management expects to receive signoff on the pilot test today and announce triggering the $1.5 million in orders on Friday.

In response to numerous inquiries regarding ALYI's new hemp energy storage intiative, ALYI management also today confirms its hemp energy storage project having brought Clarkson University Professor David Mitlin on board to lead the initiative. Professor Mitlin is a leading expert in electrochemistry and a pioneer in the use of hemp as a clean, green, renewable energy in the form of a supercapacitor. Mitlin has successfully used hemp bast - the fiber left over from processing hemp - to construct carbon nanosheets that compete with, and in some respects, outperform the supercapacitor performance derived from more typical graphene nanosheets. Mitlin does hold a US patent for his proprietary hemp energy storage technology.
