HOUSTON, July 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Houston American Energy Corp. (NYSE MKT: HUSA) today announced that the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas has rendered a Final Judgment and Order of Dismissal with Prejudice in the company's previously pending shareholder class action lawsuit.

The judgment approved the previously announced settlement of the suit pursuant to which the company's insurance company funded the full cost of settling the claims comprising the class action lawsuit.
