DLH Appraised at Capability Maturity Model Integration Level 3

ATLANTA, Aug. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- DLH Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: DLHC) is pleased to announce our Mission Services and Solutions (MSS) operating unit recently appraised at a Level 3 for the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), Version 1.3 rating.

To secure this rating, a group of DLH employees, along with industry partner Concept Quality Assurance Lab, and an appraisal team leader participated in a Class A Standard CMMI Appraisal Method Process Improvement. Through examination of objective evidence, the appraisal team analyzed the extent to which DLH implemented the CMMI for Development (Version 1.3) model. The team presented its final findings indicating Level 3 Maturity to the appraisal sponsors and other key stakeholders. A Level 3 rating indicates our organization's processes are well characterized and understood, and described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods.

Upon careful review DLH received verification of the appraisal on August 10.  Achieving this appraisal validates DLH's commitment to performance excellence, agility, and process improvement.

"We are very proud of this important accomplishment. We look forward to continually improving our customers' return on investment with sustainable and measurable processes. Our clients will benefit from greater productivity and reliable performance," said MSS President Helene Fisher.

DLH focuses on Federal health care and human services by providing solutions that positively affect peoples' lives. We manage large-scale technology-enabled programs that result in better outcomes for our customers and the people they serve—veterans, children, and families in need. This rating will help us continue as a high-performance organization, capable partner, and supplier.
