TracyLocke Takes Home 2018 Change Agency Award

DALLAS, Aug. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Marcus Graham Project, a not-for-profit organization established exclusively to advance opportunities for people of color in the advertising and marketing industry, honored TracyLocke, part of Omnicom Group (NYSE: OMC), with its 2018 Change Agency Award on Saturday, August 4, 2018. Hugh Boyle, Chief Executive Officer of TracyLocke, accepted the award for the global agency during the annual black-tie Lavender Hill Gala at the Dallas Museum of Art.

2018 Change Agency Award

Speaking on behalf of the Marcus Graham Project leadership team, co-founder and former Account Service Executive, Lincoln Stephens said, "TracyLocke has given great support to our flagship program, the ICR8 Summer Boot Camp, since its inception. Now in the boot camp's 10th year, TracyLocke has provided office space, mentorship through access to agency talent, as well as resources to support our efforts in making our industry a more inclusive and diverse business. TracyLocke has been a consistent partner towards our objectives since day one, and we commend their recent efforts in recognizing and developing diverse agency talent."

Hugh Boyle commented, "The Marcus Graham Project data tells us that at the current rate of hiring and retention, our industry will not reflect the population of the country until the year 2079. Three years ago, we committed that TracyLocke would not be content to wait 60 years to be a more accurate representation of the America in which we live. Our partnership with the Marcus Graham Project has been pivotal in TracyLocke confronting our own diversity challenges, so I am honored to receive their Change Agency Award at this stage of our journey."

Previous Change Agency Award honorees include Wieden+Kennedy, J. Walter Thompson and RAPP.
