Voya Financial EVP of Operations Nan Ferrara Joins Advisory Board for Hofstra University's Zarb School of Business

NEW YORK, Dec. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Voya Financial, Inc. (NYSE: VOYA), announced today that Nan Ferrara, EVP of Operations and Continuous Improvement, has joined the Dean's advisory board for the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University, located in Long Island, New York. Ferrara is the newest member of a board of advisors composed of executives from leading financial services companies and consumer brands.

Ferrara has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, having served in various leadership positions at major insurance and financial services corporations prior to joining Voya in 2012. As EVP of Operations and Continuous Improvement, Ferrara oversees the overall growth strategy and performance of the operations organization, as well as the company's Continuous Improvement efforts, a key driver of Voya's strategic transformation. She utilizes a results-driven approach to help build high-performing teams and greater collaboration among Voya's ongoing business and support functions. Ferrara is a member of the organization's Executive Committee and also serves on the Board of Directors of Voya Foundation, the company's charitable giving arm.

The Zarb School has more than 1,000 graduate students from across the country and around the globe and is consistently ranked as a top national business program. Students have access to opportunities including internships, experiential learning and educational resources in New York City, with the comfort of a traditional campus environment.
