Liminal BioSciences announces upcoming presentations new data on pulmonary arterial hypertension at the 2019 AHA meeting

(TSX: LMNL) (OTCQX: PFSCF) ("Liminal BioSciences" or the "Company"), a clinical-stage small molecules company focused on developing novel therapeutics to treat unmet needs in patients with liver, respiratory and kidney disease, announced today the presentation of two scientific posters with new preclinical development in the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension ("PAH") at the American Heart Association ("AHA") 2019 Annual Meeting. The conference will take place on November 16-18, 2019 in Philadelphia, PA.
"In collaboration with Montreal Heart Institute, we are pleased to present data showing significant activity of PBI-4050 in PAH, and also in combination with Valsartan in group II PH associated with left heart disease, with currently no therapy approved for prevention or treatment of group II PH" stated Kenneth Galbraith, Chief Executive Officer.
