AutoCanada Inc. Announces Executive Appointment

EDMONTON, March 21, 2017 /CNW/ - AutoCanada Inc. (TSX:ACQ) today announced the appointment of Mr. Mark Warsaba to the position of Senior Vice-President & Chief Operations Officer effective April 1, 2017.  Mark Warsaba will report directly to Steven Landry, President & CEO.

Mark Warsaba will assume responsibility for the operational performance of existing dealerships as well as the integration and subsequent performance of new dealerships.  Working closely with the CEO and CFO, Mark Warsaba will be responsible for implementing industry best practices with a focus on same-store execution, new dealer integration and financial performance.

Mark Warsaba joined AutoCanada in 2013 as dealer principal with Audi Winnipeg & St. James Volkswagen in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Under his leadership, both stores have received numerous awards including the "Audi Canada Presidents Club" award in 2016, presented to the top Audi dealership in Canada.

Prior to joining AutoCanada, Mark Warsaba served in various leadership roles for 11 years with Volkswagen Canada. Previously, he spent nine years in logistics operations management. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba, and is currently a member of the National Dealer Advisory Council with Volkswagen Canada, as well as a member of the AutoCanada Dealer Council.  He was born in Winnipeg, where he and his wife have raised their two children.
