University of Michigan Eco-Driving Index Report

The Eco-Driving Index estimates the average greenhouse gases produced by a model US driver in a new car purchased that month. The estimates are calculated from estimates of the amount of fuel used which are calculated by the fuel economy of the vehicle and the distance driven.
