Robert Shiller

Robert Shiller is a professor of economics at Yale University and a widely respected scholar in the field of financial economics. In the early 1990s, he and fellow economist Karl Case developed a repeat-sales index using home sales prices data from across the US. This index, after further refinement by Fiserv and Standard & Poor, would become the well-known Case-Shiller index. He is also known for his research regarding asset pricing in the stock market and market bubbles.
