South Korea Economy

Back to Economic Data Main Page

South Korea has minimal natural resources and overpopulation problems due to its small land area, which has also deterred the formation of a large internal consumer market, thus it has become an export-oriented economy and is currently the 7th largest exporter and 10th largest importer in the world. South Korea is currently the 15th largest economy overall with a nominal GDP of $1.116 trillion.
