The economy of Croatia is a service-based economy with the service sector making up 70% of the GDP. According to 2011 estimates, the nominal GDP is $63.84 billion placing Croatia at 65th in the world. The industrial sector, which makes up 25% of the economy, is dominated by shipbuilding with food processing and the chemical industry also making up significant portions of industrial production and exports.
