Finland has a highly industrialized, mixed economy with a GDP of $196.7 billion according to 2010 estimates, putting it at 55th in the world. Trade is important to the economy with exports making up close to a third of GDP in recent years. Finland is strong in manufacturing, particularly the wood, metals, engineering, telecommunications, and electronics industries.
