PEGY Ratio

View Financial Glossary Index

Definition

The Price/Earnings-to-growth and Dividend Yield ratio (PEGY) shows the price of a stock relative to the earnings, expected growth, and dividend yield.

A low ratio means that the stock is not as expensive when compared to its earnings growth and dividend yield. A higher ratio says the opposite.

Formula

PEGY Ratio = Prices / [EPS growth TTM + (Daily Dividend Yield * 100)]
