Definition

Enterprise valuation multiples are valuations based on enterprise value. These ratios include, but not limited to EV/EBITDA, EV/EBIT, EV/Assets, etc. Investors and analysts frequently use enterprise valuation multiples when the value of the company's business plays an important stake to all stakeholders (and not just common equity holders).
