The American Association of Individual Investors
The American Association of Individual Investors is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individual investors by equipping its members with investment tools and research. It conducts a weekly AAII Sentiment Survey which measures the percentage of AAII members who are bearish, bullish, and neutral on the stock market over the next six months.

The AAII Sentiment Survey is a weekly survey of its members which asks if they are "Bullish," "Bearish," or "Neutral" on the stock market over the next six months. AAII first conducted this survey in 1987 via standard mail. In 2000, the survey was moved to AAII's website.
