Noble Energy, Inc. was incorporated in Delaware in 1969, and began doing business in 1932. It has been publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange since 1980. Noble Energy and its subsidiaries are an energy company involved in the acquisition, exploration, development, production and marketing of crude oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids. Its operations are divided between U.S. and international operations, with different regions of operation and reporting in each. The company has almost US$3 billion in revenue at #660 on the 2007 Fortune 1000 list of the largest American companies.
