Will gold continue to breakout or is the recent slump a sign of things to come?
Silver and gold equities down again. A monster withdrawal from GLD---and no change in SLV once again. Another sales report from the U.S. Mint. No in/out movement in gold over at the Comex-approved depositories on Tuesday and a smallish 170,000 ounces of silver shipped out.
Given its practical value, silver is at a very interesting level.
Gold tumbles as strong retail sales offset worries about crisis in Ukraine and increasing demand in China.
Precious metal equities close higher. GLD picks up some gold---and no reported change in SLV. The U.S. Mint has a decent sales report. A decent gold deposit at the Comex-approved depository on Friday---and more big in/out movement in silver once again.
If all goes well this week, we may see another low come in late Monday.
