Fibria Celulose is a Brazilian pulp and paper company created by a merger between Aracruz and VCP, born positioned as a global leader in pulp, with production capacity exceeding 6 million tons of pulp and paper produced in 7 factories distributed in 5 Brazilian states. Much of this production is exported. The company has many distributor centers around the world and 5 offices in the main consumers markets, they are: São Paulo (Headquarters), Beijing, Csomád - Hungary, Hong Kong, Miami and Nyon, Switzerland. Its activities are supported by a forest base covering an area of 1,062,000 hectares, spread across seven states: Espírito Santo, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul and Rio de Janeiro and of this total, 400,000 hectares have been set aside for the conservation of native forest ecosystems. Its workforce amounts to approximately 15,000 professionals, including its own employees and outsourced staff. It operates 4 mills with a combined annual production capacity of 5.25 million tons of pulp. It also has a 50% stake in Veracel (joint-venture with Stora Enso), in Bahia.
