CLARCOR Inc. was organized in 1904 as an Illinois corporation, and was reincorporated in Delaware in 1969. The company is a global provider of filtration products and services. During fiscal 2008, CLARCOR conducted business in three principal industry segments: engine/mobile filtration, industrial/environmental filtration and packaging. The company's consumer and industrial packaging products business is conducted by a wholly-owned subsidiary, J.L. Clark, Inc., which manufactures containers and packaging specialties used in dry and paste form products, such as food specialties (e.g., tea, coffee, spices, cookies, candy, mints and other confections), tobacco products, toiletries, playing cards, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. The company completed the following acquisitions in 2009: Keddeg Company; Meggitt (UK) Limited; Pujiang Novaeastern International Mesh Co., Ltd.; Quzhou Chinagrace Filter Co., Ltd.; and Weifang Yuhua Filters Ltd. CLARCOR Inc. was founded in 1904 and is headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee.
